Metal fences are often used to enclose gardens, parks, cottages and country cottages. Of course, the forged brick fence looks very beautiful, but not everyone can afford such a luxury. Alternatively, you can do do-it-yourself welded fence, It also looks noble and costs much cheaper.
There are various options for such a fence. Welded fences can be made very high, with supports made of different materials, such as natural stone or decorative bricks. But it is more natural to install metal poles for a welded fence. For this, steel strips or profile pipes are used. Sections can be made independently or purchased ready-made.
The sequence of installation of the welded fence is as follows - markup, fill the foundation, fasten and install supports and then mount the sections.
With the marking, it’s clear, you mean, the places for the posts, then you dig holes under them, the depth depends on the height of the fence. Dig a trench. After that, weld four rods from the reinforcement with another rod. The resulting structure is installed in a prepared pit for supports, then put a metal pole and fill it with concrete.
About a day later, pour concrete into the trench, having previously placed reinforcing bars in it. After another day, the frame for the base is installed. It is necessary to make the formwork. The construction poured with concrete should stand for 6-7 days, then the base will be ready. When the base is ready and the concrete has solidified, set the transverse metal strips by welding. If you bought ready-made sections, then they are immediately welded to the supports. To give the fence more aesthetic appearance, the base is faced with natural stone or other material, such as pebbles or sandstone.
