• Good to use for filter river pebbles. It can also be gathered on the river bank. Pebbles are a very good material for a well, as it has a chemically neutral composition. Usually these are rounded pebbles of different sizes. Pebbles, like sand, also need to be washed, only this is done with running water, for example, under pressure from a garden hose.
• In some cases, the bottom filter is used gravel. By its qualities, it is inferior to pebbles, since this stone represents sedimentary porous rock, which contains impurities of sand and clay. Therefore, it is possible to use only new gravel, if it was already used in another system, then due to its porosity, it could accumulate harmful contaminants.
• Is there some more crushed stone. Although it is used to equip wells, you have to be very careful with the choice. Many types of rubble in their qualities are not suitable for the bottom filter. For example, building rubble from constant contact with water is washed away, and will only contaminate the well. Granite rubble has increased background radiation. So you can only use gravel from neutral materials, for example, jadeite. It is also used for stoves, as this material cleans water well.

This material is especially necessary if there are any industrial enterprises near the well or your well no deeper than five meters.
