Causes of well siltation

To prevent siltation of the well, it is necessary to pump out water as much as possible in the summer. The sludge most often settles if the pipes are installed incorrectly or use the well little. Also, the cause may be a rotary pump, which takes water only up to 8 meters. In this case, the well needs to be periodically pumped with a vibration pump, lowering it to the very bottom.

Difficulties with cleaning may arise if a filter of two pipes of different diameters is installed in the well, in which case a vibration pump cannot be used. Therefore, such filters are not recommended.
