How to make an origami butterfly: an easy way
Make Origami Butterfly not hard, a little practice and in half an hour you will become a real expert. Paper butterflies not only chic, but also fun. This is a great activity for children and a great introduction to origami for beginners, as it uses only simple, basic origami folds. Materials: You will need scissors, plain square paper or origami paper.
- Step 1: Fold the paper diagonally from corner to corner. Expand, rotate and fold the corner into the corner again. Expand.
- Step 2: When done, it should look like there is a cross in the center of the paper.
- Step 3: Fold the paper horizontally and vertically, top to bottom to bottom, aligning the corners. Expand, rotate and do the same. Then deploy again.

- Step 6: Fold the wings. Take the top two rounded corners and fold to the middle.
- Step 7: Turn the butterfly upside down. Take the triangle below and fold it in back (Do not bend) so that there is a small triangle on top. Fold on the front panel, then the wings. Your paper butterfly is ready!
