What wood-polymer composite

So what is a wood-polymer composite or abbreviated KDP? This is a mixture of monomers and wood, which are obtained by mixing these components. Thanks to modern technologies, a material is obtained that is not inferior in quality to a ceramic plate and a board made of pure wood.

pros

• It is moisture resistant, does not crack or warp during installation.
• At the same time, duodenum well tolerates chemical and mechanical effects. It holds metal elements well, since the composite does not cause their corrosion.
• It’s good to build fences consisting of profiles from KDP, because the material has a beautiful look natural wood and at the same time has all the characteristics of PVC.
• In addition, KDP does not contain lead additives, that is, the material is environmentally friendly.
• Fungi and mold do not form on it, humidity and direct sunlight are not afraid of it, from them the material does not fade or fade.
• It is profitable to build protections from wood-polymer material, because the service life of such a fence is 20 years or more.
• It is very simple to mount, for this it is not necessary to fill the foundation.

Minuses

There are, of course, drawbacks, although the material tolerates the temperature difference well, but from the temperature influence comes slight deformation, and although it's only a few millimeters, such a disadvantage cannot be ignored. This problem is eliminated with the help of small gaps and special fasteners.

If we compare the cost of such a fence, for example, with the cost of a wooden fence, then the price will be approximately the same. But, given the technical characteristics of the WPC, then, of course, a composite fence bet much more profitable!!!, as you don’t have to bear the costs of paints and varnishes, impregnation and other expenses.

Installation of fencing from KDP boards

Installation of fencing from the boards of the KDP, as already mentioned, very simple.

 

1. at first supporting posts are installed, usually eight millimeter metal pipes. Since the fence is quite light, you can use screw supports that do not need concreting.
2. Then a support profile is put on poles, they will perform supporting functions and in general, it is beautiful.
3. Next stage, fixing of supporting elementsusing a horizontal profile, which is fastened with special bolts. To do this, in the profiles, it is necessary to prepare holes for the bolts in advance. And finally, boards made of KDP are mounted on a horizontal profile.

The fence made of wood-polymer composite can be of any color and shape and allows you to implement a wide variety of individually designed designs.
