The interior designer, Karen Seeley, wanted to turn her small patio into a garden that she could enjoy all year round. With the support of friends, she got to work. Sealy changes the style of his yard by season. These photos show the garden this summer and some pictures from the winter.

With the help of friends and her hard work, Sealy turned the garden into an oasis that she can enjoy all year. Part of the garden is closed with a 12 by 12 gazebo from LesKarelii lumber. “I wanted a solid structure in the yard where I could hide from the heat and rain, but I also dreamed of looking at the stars and the sky during a thunderstorm,” she says. The corrugated plastic roof gives her a clear view of the sky.

The large mulberry tree is now surrounded by cedar seats, in which there is a place for pillows and a refrigerator with drinks. “I like multifunctional objects,” says Seeley. Almost all patios are covered with potted plants, which make the area especially “warm” in winter.

To hide the fence, add shadows and drown out the sound of transport, Seeley and her friends planted a hawthorn.

Garden chandelier (photo 4) Seeley bought from one of her clients, who changed her mind about using it. The gazebo is completely waterproof, so nothing threatens the chandelier.

She updated the used table with copper paint, then added a walnut counter top.

The gazebo is covered with waterproof vinyl. Curtains on the inside also prevent water from entering. She likes that this place can be changed depending on the season - last winter she had a big party here. “There were more people in the garden than in the house,” she says.

During the party, she put cozy furniture, heaters and baskets with mittens, scarves and blankets for guests (photo 6).

For the summer, she chose a marine style, although there are no anchors or flags. She painted the floor in delicate blue, and the lanterns in bright yellow (photo 7). “The blue color makes the gazebo warmer, plus no dirt can be seen on it,” she says. Blue, cream, white and yellow also look great for other topics.

On the other side of the fence, a gravel path with stone steps leads to the barn.

“How the summer began I never had dinner at home,” Sealy laughs.
