These same thoughts occurred to the author of this project too - look at the photo, it turned out very well, and if you dim the lights, then you can not distinguish it from a real fireplace.

So, some of the basic elements you will need:

• Cardboard, a lot! For some parts, the author used double-walled boxes, for others, single-walled boxes.
• Insulating tape
• Centimetre
• Marker or pen
• A lot of wood glue.
• Paints: red, gray, brown, black, or any color you like.

Other necessary items:

• Something heavy for the press, as an option, a stack of books.

Brief instruction

In the photo you can see how the main vertical columns were assembled. Of course, your design may vary. When the vertical parts are glued, they must be glued to the flat part, which will eventually become a “brick” base.

1. Turning the lid upside down, install the pillars inside and then set the cut-out side of the box lid flush with the back of the speakers.
2. To access the underside of the fireplace, lay the structure on the floor. Using scraps of two-layer cardboard, cut and glue the base frame
3. To strengthen the middle of the fireplace, add a cross-bracket between the two posts.
4. The sides are made of a two-layer sheet, and the single strip that covers the structure is a single layer. Using a glue edge along the edges of the sides, carefully install and then fold a single-layer strip along the edge, as seen in the photo.

1. In the photo you can see how the base is folding. Since there were only four elements of the crossbars for work, and not very long to cover the entire length, they need to be strategically placed.

How to make a cardboard fireplace

6. To decorate the fireplace, cut brown wrapping paper and wrap it in front of the fireplace. First wrap the middle horizontal part, then the sides and finally the bottom. Design drawings can be found on the Internet, but if you have artistic abilities, just draw a pattern that you like.
7. Attach the fireplace to the wall so that one of the vertical parts closes the outlet. In this case, a fire is a garland wrapped around an inverted ceramic bowl with a candle in the middle. Everything stands on a box draped in cloth. Decorate the top of the fireplace with Christmas cards and other light decorations.

STEP 1

• Start by creating a structure. It will be necessary to cut a 1 × 10 board 110 cm long, and two 68 cm each, as well as 4 bars of 90 cm each.
• The boards will make up the front of the fireplace, and the bars are attached at the back to add depth to the structure.

• Using the third step, cut out pieces of the appropriate size to insert inside and below the square frame. They are designed to mount pallets on the front of the fireplace.

Step 2: Vertical boards

• Find boards of the same color and width with a minimum gap size.
• First, select the boards that will be installed to the left and right of the fireplace hearth. Match the boards so that their width is the same for both sides.
• Secondly, select the boards that will be mounted horizontally along the front of the fireplace and above the hole.
• Third, select a board for the front of the frame.
• Attach the four boards that will be installed vertically - to the left and right of the holerstia - blocking them along the edges of the same width as the boards themselves. This allows them to cover the edges of the parts that you will use in the next step.

Step 3: Connection points

• Lay the fireplace on the floor with the back side up.
• Attach the cropped board vertically to the back.
• Then attach the blocks to the vertical part you just added.

• Cut two panels from pallets and nail to the left and right side, inside the fireplace opening.

Step 4: Horizontal boards
