To build a mine well, you can use various materials - reinforced concrete, wood, brick or stone. But reinforced concrete rings are considered the most practical, they are durable and will last a long time. If the aquifer in your area is high, then with a well depth of 5 - 6 meters, it is good to use standard concrete pipes of half a meter diameter.

The easiest way to equip a mine is a drain. To protect themselves from collapse, the rings increase gradually. That is, first they dig around the ground around the ring so that it completely drops, and put the next ring on it. Then continue digging, the rings will gradually lower under the pressure of their weight.
In order to prevent skewing during the lowering process, it is necessary to evenly dig four special indentations under the ring, where the same bars or chocks should be inserted. Then do the digging under the opposite bars, gradually lowering the rings to the desired depth.

Shafts and rings with a meter diameter are also equipped. They are used if the depth of the mine is more than six meters. Only to lower such rings is it necessary to use a winch, which is mounted on a special tripod.

After completion of work, when the rings are installed, it is necessary to equip the water intake. The job is to create a bottom filter. It will be necessary to deepen the bottom by 15 - 20 centimeters and level, pump out dirty water. Then fill the bottom with a 30-centimeter layer of coarse river sand. Pour two more layers of gravel on top of 20 centimeters, first small, then large. It is advisable to wash the gravel in advance with a weak solution of bleach.

It happens that groundwater arrives very quickly, then it is necessary to make a wooden flooring with large cracks, and through them fill all the elements of the bottom filter.
