How to make a fence from corrugated board

The option, when there is no foundation, is used quite often. This method simplifies and speeds up the installation of fencing, and also saves money on concrete. Of course, with a foundation, the fence will be stronger and look more solid, but the circumstances are different and you can make a beautiful and inexpensive fence from corrugated board only on supporting poles.

Here, basically it all depends on the terrain, so before deciding which way to install the fence, it is better to consult with specialists. If there are differences in height on the site, the presence of watery soil, and this is an open area where there is a strong wind, then the foundation should still be established.

If the terrain allows, then you can put a fence without a foundation. Work begins with the installation of poles. The best option is a profile pipe 100 mm in diameter and corresponding height, depending on the height of the fence. The hole in the upper part is usually brewed so that water does not enter.

Under the pillars they dig holes up to one and a half meters deep (preferably with a drill). If the fence is planned to be high, then the poles must be buried deeper.
The bottom must be covered with large gravel (thickness of about 20 centimeters) or with broken brick. Then the poles are installed, which must be leveled with a plumb line.
The support is poured with cement, secured with temporary supports. Touching the pillars and doing something with them for three days is not recommended until the cement has completely hardened.

Then install the transverse logs, which can be made from a profiled pipe or wooden beam. The pipe, of course, is preferable. The number of lags also depends on the height of the fence. At a height of up to two meters, two lags are usually enough, if higher, three pieces must be installed. The lags are fastened by welding, and if you make a continuous fence so that support pillars are not visible, then they should be welded from the outside, and if the spans are not solid, then in the center of the supports.

We can say that fences from corrugated board today are almost beyond competition. If the fence is installed without a foundation and with your own hands, then it will cost relatively cheap. And if you choose the ratio of price - quality, decking, one of the best options.
